-This is a pedal that splits your signal. There are two buttons that switch between the two paths or has the path go through both paths (A AND B, A or B)<br />
There are two led lights ran by batteries (that last forever) that shows the path your signal is taking and the path is changed back and forth by pressing the two different buttons. </p>
<p>- For how long have you been using it?<br />
I have used this ABY pedal for over a year now, and it has never let me down</p>
<p>- What thing do you like most/least about it?<br />
Basically this ABY pedal allows for a split between two amps, I use the line6 dl4 to loop myself and then send that loop to one amp as then with the ease of the ABY pedal I can move back to my main amp and play along with my loop without any noise interference.<br />
I like how easy it is to go from one amp to another with this pedal.</p>
<p>- Did you try many other models before getting this one?<br />
I also use a keeley true bypass (which can essentially do the same thing as the ABY pedal) and Both work great, I would say the only real difference is size and the ABY pedal can split your signal to two different amps at the same time, or just one Thus the A AND B function or the A or B function as seen on the picture.</p>
<p>- What is your opinion about the value for the price?<br />
If you are looking for this type of splitter, this is top of the line<br />
If you want more of an effects looper go with the Keeley True Bypass</p>
<p>- Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?<br />
Yes, I am surprised I went as long as I did without this pedal.</p></div>
</div>

<div class="contrib-content"><img class="alignleft" src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/produits/audiofanet_en/thumb1/1/1/11077.jpg" alt="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/produits/audiofanet_en/thumb1/1/1/11077.jpg" width="110" height="33" />This digital piano is from the 80s I think. <strong>It is a professional quality instrument</strong>. It has various piano sounds and the other limited choice of basic sounds like organs, harpsichord, strings etc. The sounds can be edited and saved. The instrument is multi-timbrel. If memory serves me correct it doesn&#8217;t have a sequencer. It has facility for splitting the keyboard into parts where different sounds are triggered on different sections of the keyboard. It has some cheesy drum sounds. There are the usual line outs, pedal outs, midi in/outs. <strong>The keyboard feels like a real piano</strong>. The piano is heavy.</div>
</div>
<div class="avis">
<div class="avis_libelle"><img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/audiofanzine/icones/arrow_right.gif" alt="" width="8" height="8" /> Utilisation   <img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/produits/etoiles/etoiles5_s.gif" alt="" width="45" height="9" /></div>
<div class="contrib-content">The one drawback of this keyboard is that <strong>it is not user friendly when accessing the deeper</strong> <strong>functions</strong> which requires the manual to figure out. It is also very heavy but it is transportable.</div>
</div>
<div class="avis">
<div class="avis_libelle"><img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/audiofanzine/icones/arrow_right.gif" alt="" width="8" height="8" /> Sounds   <img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/produits/etoiles/etoiles9_s.gif" alt="" width="45" height="9" /></div>
<div class="contrib-content"><strong>This digital piano sounds great!</strong> <strong>It sounds very much like a real piano</strong>. And the fidelity of the output sound is extremely good. <strong>All the output sounds sound very solid and</strong><strong> strong with very low if any background noise</strong>. On recordings it sounds like a real piano. Not all of the piano sounds are great but there are a few great ones.</div>
</div>
<div class="avis_global">
<div class="avis_libelle"><img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/audiofanzine/icones/arrow_right.gif" alt="" width="8" height="8" /> Overall Opinion   <img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/produits/etoiles/etoiles9_s.gif" alt="" width="45" height="9" /></div>
<div class="contrib-content">I was fortunate enough to be able to borrow one of these for a number of years. Eventually I had to return it to the owner. I deeply miss the Roland RD 500. However I am not a true piano player. I&#8217;m a guitarist/composer who plays and records some piano and uses piano for composing. <strong>The best thing about this digital piano is that it feels and sounds like a real</strong> <strong>piano</strong>. I like to play in a beautiful romantic style using the damper pedal. With this piano I could easily get into and feel inspired by the sound. I have looked for another digital piano since losing this one but I have been looking in the $300.00 range. I have not found anything including the new Yamahas that feel or play as good as this piano. I believe the going rate for a used RD 500 is around $500.00. If I could find another used for a good price I would definitely buy it.</div>

The unit is solidly built and is housed in a metal case.</div>

<div class="avis_libelle"><img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/audiofanzine/icones/arrow_right.gif" alt="" width="8" height="8" /> Getting Started   <img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/produits/etoiles/etoiles7_s.gif" alt="" width="45" height="9" /></div>
<div class="contrib-content">When I first installed this on an old G3 Imac there where a few timing issues but I was able to resolve them by adjusting the buffer. I once tried to install this on a friend&#8217;s PC laptop and was never able to get it to work. It could have been the laptop or it could have been the US-122s software. I don&#8217;t know.</div>

<div class="avis_libelle"><img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/audiofanzine/icones/arrow_right.gif" alt="" width="8" height="8" /> Utilisation   <img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/produits/etoiles/etoiles9_s.gif" alt="" width="45" height="9" /></div>
<div class="contrib-content">I only used this unit briefly to make multi-track recordings. I have never had any problems. In recent years I use it occasionally to input cassette and LP recordings into my computer for conversion to audio CDs and MP3s. The unit works nicely with no issues. I like the unit ergonomically with its knobs on top, small size, and strong construction. Its easy, clear and straightforward to use. The unit sounds good but not as good as my Motu 828 Firewire audio interface. I can hear the difference but I don&#8217;t know how to describe the difference. The US-122 is powered completely by USB so it makes sense that the amplifiers are not as sophisticated as a unit such as the Motu 828 which is powered by more juice.</div>

<div class="contrib-content">I bought this when it first came out and at the time it was a ground breaking product for its price range. Now Tascam has a newer version and there are many other similar brands on the market. I have not heard or used any of these. However for my needs I have no reason to ever abandon this unit in favor of a newer one.</div>

<div class="contrib-content">I believe this was one of the first consumer oriented external firewire devices on the market. It originally sold mail order for $800.00. I bought mine around 2001 or 2002 and am still happily using it (2008) to record onto my home computer. It features two preamp inputs with individual adjustable gain with phantom power switch and XLR or 1/4 inch inputs, 6 more balanced inputs with 1/4 inch jacks and level controls for each pair of two, LED in/out lights, headphone jack, master volume level knob, monitor level knob, stereo main out jacks, 8 individual balanced out jacks and some optical and Adat jack options I don&#8217;t use or know much about. It has 24 bit 64 and 128 oversampling converters. It has a software control panel that is easy to use.</div>

<div class="contrib-content">I have never had any issue with the Motu 828 except that often when I turn it on the clock does not sink up with the computer and the clock lights continue to flash. This requires me to turn off the Moto 828 and turn it back on again. The second time I turn it on it always sinks right up to the computer. My drivers are updated and I have had this issue with 2 different computers each running Tiger OSX. I have no idea if this issue is peculiar to me or an issue with Tiger or a characteristic of the unit. It is annoying but not terribly bad. I use the 828 with Logic software.</div>

I don&#8217;t have a lot of experience with soundcards but it sounds professional to me. It sounds better that my Tascam US-122. I don&#8217;t know how it compares to the newer products but overall it is a great product and I&#8217;ve been very happy with it.</div>

<div class="avis">
<div class="contrib-content"><span class="contrib-header-nomproduit"><img title="Yamaha PSR-225 - AudioFanzine" src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/produits/audiofanet_en/thumb2/1/7/17057.gif" border="0" alt="Yamaha PSR-225 - AudioFanzine" width="206" height="160" align="middle" /></span></div>
<div class="contrib-content">There are a gazillion different PSR models and Yamaha has been making them for many years. This particular model is old but when I play the newer models in the local music store they don&#8217;t seem that much different in terms of sound or features. These things are everywhere and they can be gotten cheap. They are inexpensive light weight non-professional keyboards that feature the usual array of sounds and functions you typically find in these type keyboards. Here is a list of some of the features. Yamaha&#8221;s great piano sound for inexpensive keyboards, tons of AMW and GM sounds, effects, multi track sequencer, auto rhythms with section options and fills, one note and chord type auto accompaniment, loads of auto styles, midi in/out, damper pedal out, built in speakers, line outs etc. However there is <strong>no</strong> expression or bend wheel.</div>
</div>
<div class="avis">
<div class="avis_libelle"><img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/audiofanzine/icones/arrow_right.gif" alt="" width="8" height="8" /> Utilisation   <img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/produits/etoiles/etoiles5_s.gif" alt="" width="45" height="9" /></div>
<div class="contrib-content">These keyboards are remarkably fun and useful. The main drawback is that the interface (at least on this particular model) can be very cumbersome and hard to read. It uses yellow words and numbers on top of a silver background and its very difficult to see unless you are in <strong>well</strong> <strong>lit</strong> surroundings. Accessing some functions via the multi function buttons and menus can be a real chore. However there is a useful dial for accessing items and there is a nice one touch button that allows the user to instantly return to the basic piano sound from anywhere. However the keyboard actually does a lot and I guess you would have to be an engineer to figure out how to access all this stuff in a small space.</div>
</div>
<div class="avis_global">
<div class="avis_libelle"><img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/audiofanzine/icones/arrow_right.gif" alt="" width="8" height="8" /> Overall Opinion   <img src="http://img.en.audiofanzine.com/img/v35/produits/etoiles/etoiles9_s.gif" alt="" width="45" height="9" /></div>
<div class="contrib-content">The sound output by this keyboard is not of professional quality and there is some low level background noise. However the sounds are remarkably good especially the piano sound for such a cheap keyboard. Personally I have had a lot of fun with mine and I like the fact the you can move it around easily or stand it up on its end and store it in the corner. I play mine for fun and to write melodies with. Some of the rhythms are very fun and useful too. If you are interested in an inexpensive keyboard I would definitely look at any Yamaha brand PSR. There are tons of em out there so there is no reason to pay a lot for one. The piano sound is probably unbeatable in this price range.</div>
